Entry door

Since day one I have had a lot of road noise around the door. I have added weather stripping around the door that made a some difference. The door fits perfectly and is tight at this time. Today I removed the interior trim strip. While somewhat centered in the opening there was a gap of approx . 2”
on one side. I chinked fiberglass insulation
all the way around the door opening Quick road test proved a much quieter door. If you have a lot of road noise you might check under that door trim? There is nothing between the exterior aluminum trim
and the interior so just from a cool/heat perspective it is worth insulating this void. Thanks, Ron G.

Cab door or coach door? Not sure which interior trim strip you are referring to.

Sorry, I did not take any photos. Just unscrew the 12’ish screws and the trim comes right off.
