Level Coach & A/C Drain
I aired up the coach today at the storage yard and at least a gallon of water rolled off the top behind the passenger door. When I put the jacks down the condensation water started coming out the middle bottom of the coach as it should. I am in covered storage in hot muggy SW Florida so I keep one A/C unit on at all times.
I guess that the coach needs to be level when the A/C is on.Who Knew???

Ron - I had a similar issue. My problem was my rear condensate pump had failed and the line had gotten clogged. I replaced the pump and blew out the line with about 50 PSI. The line was definitely clogged and I then poured a bleach solution down it.
The coach does not have to be level. If it was way out of level I could see where the condensate pump would not work, but it would have to be pretty uneven. There is a little tray where the condensation collects and the condensate pumps runs all the time. If it doesn't come off the roof any more, I guess that was it. Otherwise I'd check that line. Very easy to get to - 4 screws to take off cover of AC unit. You should be able to take that clear hose off and blow through it. If not, blow it out with compressed air.

Interesting. Never thought of it even having a drain pump up there. It is draining where it should now so I'll watch it for a few days.

What brand A/C's would I most likely have? It is not on my build sheet. I hope they are Coleman because we have several service facilities near me including a mobile guy who is listed on their website so I hope he can do warranty work.

Here's my theory: It is stored under cover with the back of the coach just barely under the roof. The night before the problem we had a hard blowing rain. Since only the rear of the coach was down due to having only rear air bags, I am thinking that rain water ponded up against the back end cap. When I stated the motor and aired up to level the water came rushing forward and ran off behind the passenger cab door. It was a lot of water. I have been running the same A/C since this happened and the condensation is falling out where it should.

Makes sense. Our roofs trap a lot of water because of the tape on the edges.
