My first OOPS need your help
Well, after 9 years of RVing I had my first oops. We were pulling out of a great campground with large sites and awesome location. Problem is the corners are tight and the roads to the sites are very narrow and lined with 3 ft diameter rocks. You can imagine what comes next, yes, I rubbed one of the rocks and messed up the bottom and lower 6 inches of one of our basement doors. On our coach they are aluminum framed with a polished stainless steel front and foam filled. I am looking for a place to have it repaired in West Michigan or Northern Indiana. I'll attach pictures later.

Update: I contacted several RV repair facilities and no one was interested or couldn't get to it until next year. So, I decided to fix it myself. The door was easy to remove, the stainless skin was held on by pop rivets so I just drilled them out and removed it. After the skin was off I straightened the aluminum frame by using body dollies, hammers and clamps. This went surprisingly easy, after repainting the entire frame and replacing the foam the frame looks like new. I found a local sheet metal house that remade the stainless skin. After reassembly you would never know it had been damaged. My total cost less elbow grease was $400.00.

Great repair!
I really dislike campgrounds that line their roads with objects that can damage an RV. I understand that some folks don't respect the landscape, but accidents happen, is their grass really so precious? You could purchase a pallet of sod (or 3) for what that repair may have cost, had it been repaired by a dealer.

Nice job,
I had a 3ft semi- round ice ball roll off a 10' high plowed snow wall while I was sitting waiting for propane on my last Renegade. Took out a bay door. Like you, I could not find anyone who would touch it and when I did it was close to $4k. Most of that was paint work to blend in the colors. Hope to keep the '18 collision free but stuff happens. You saved yourself a lot of cash!

Update:
The fixed panel just in front of the dented one was also bent. I just finished fixing it also and decided to convert it to an opening one. I plan to add a platform for the leveling system hydraulics and storage for the waste hoses. Currently my hydraulic system is in between the frame rails, over the drive shaft, in a very tough area to service. I've attached evidence of the repair for you doubters.
