So the root question is now where to buy it
We live in Fountain Colorado, about 2 miles from a Transwest location. However, we have not had "good vibes" from the sales staff there. The Google has reviews good and bad everywhere (and frankly speaking reviews can be bought)
What I would like to know is simply, where did you buy your particular brand of Super C and why you would or would not go back there.
Thanks!!

In my experience, if you are purchasing used you buy the rig where you find it. Just have all your own inspections performed. There are just too few good used units out there to wait for the right one at the right dealer. Besides, if you have no warranty, you are not tethered to a particular dealer. Purchase what you want, have it serviced where you choose.
With that said, we had a very positive used unit purchase experience with Joe Fisher at Racingrvs.com. I would buy from him again.

Agree with the prior post. If you are looking for a high quality used unit you have to do your homework. I looked at several around the lower 48 and ended my one year search at Sylvan Lake RV in western Canada. From my research I would recommend Haulmark, Renegade, Showhauler and Optima.

I had a DX3, nothing and i mean nothing but problems. Bought new in July of 17. From day one onward major problems.. Initially found one of the rear air bags the housing had to be replaced, it was broken when received, part of the exhaust system everything rearward from the muffler, was gone. Had i not climber under the unit and inspected, we might have enjoyed diesel exhaust in the living area. Only reason i got to looking is that i didn't see and exhaust tip coming out the side. Two of the fuse covers in the engine compartment were missing at the firewall. Freight liner fixed all that but i suspect it was the preceding was likely done between the manufacture and delivery point and not a careful enough PDI done. At any rate, Freight liner fixed. Onward we go. The large silide out continually chewed up the drive gears. I think those were replaced twice. The first two time I was lucky so to speak, it is housed at a lake near us when not in use and we use from time to time. On those two occasions the dealer sent out technician to get the slides in in so it could be moved to their facility (driven). The gears were then replaced each time. Next time not so fortunate. In RV park in the middle of no where Colorado and on a weekend. Prepared to leave and slide out attempted to close but gears just jumped and grinded. Go dealer tech (fortunately had service managers cell) on phone and six house later with a bunch of wire i had we manager to get the slides in rewired to motors to get them to revers and after a lot of pushing and shoving got them in. We had to continue that trip as return home was not an option having to get to Wichita, Ks post haste as Brother In law had died while we were in route to their location. so the next two weeks we went without the main slide out until could return to Texas to get fixed. Well, in that process we were returning home and went through a rainstorm at which time the front end area behind the drivers compartment leaked like a collander, hugely, water running out of the base of the tv cabinet behind the passenger seat and over all areas of the roof as far back as the bedroom, even into the bay storage areas. (on this item Dynamax said not their problem). After back at dealer he fixed, supposedly, the slide out thing of that im unsure i never picked it up from them. When i went to get it after it was allegedly repaired. It was in their lot and rain had occurred. Lots of water within and mold growing. I declined, ultimately back to the factory it went for roughly three months. Lets not forget a couple of other things which had to be fixed, the floor (porcelain tile) was cracking all over the place. Investigation into that had resulted in the main slide out removal and floor surface as well and steel p[late installed over the frame, apparently inadequate support or something allowing the floor to flex and move apparently that was what was causing. This too may have cause the upper lever leakage when rain. Tech told me it had developed a gap of between a 1/4 to 1/2 inch where the roof and front cap joined. That was found after the slide out ordeal, have no clue how repaired left with dealer and dealer sent to factory, from that time forward i have not laid eyes on the Lemon. Oh a lot of other minor stuff, which ill only expound on one of the. The Macerator pump hose hose only attached to pump by zip tie blew off while pumping black tank and gave me a bath so to speak and i do mean head to toe..I said hell with DX and traded in getting a Renegade Verona LE 40 LRB.. I traded it late October 18 for the Renegade. To date I am well pleased with only two problems having surfaced the electronic bay locks, couple of locks devises replaced (minor) and the Carefree Awning hanging Carefree replaced (on the third occurrence the entire inner workings. Some kind of design flaw in which teflon guides were not there to make it lift properly when going in or out. Also, the design of the interior working of the motors and shafts totally redesigned. As explained to me but the tech doing the work. I actually think it is now fixed but only time will tell. Oh, left out the drifting all over the road issues as well. The bushings in the front sway had to be replaced by freight liner, sucker drove like a Volkswagon in a high wind prior to replacement afterward not so bad still pretty poor...Hopes this helps you a bit.
