Truck bed covers

Looking for input on a bed cover. We tow a Grand Design, 260RD fifth wheel with a F-350 and 6 1/2 foot bed. It currently has a roll up tonneau cover that is getting a bit long in the tooth. I was thinking about replacing it with a trifold cover so I could fold up 2/3 of it and leave the last part down to cover things stored near the cab. Anyone have experience/input on this?

My recommendation is to get a new roll up tonneau. When we bought a 5th wheel I got the metal tonneau and I love it. My son has the folding cover on his Ford and it is a pain.

My roll up is adjustable, I can lock it into any position. It's great for full timing. And looks cool.

Bakflip MX 4. Had one on my last 2 trucks. Plenty of room for the 5th wheel hitch, on my f350 SB

+1 have it in both my previous tow vehicles before i switched to class a. Sturdy I can even stand on top of it. It is also locked for added security if you have cargo in bed.

I also recommend the Bak Flip cover.
The roll up type are convenient but the tube that the cover rolls up into can get in the way at times

Bed cover

I had 3500 with 8 ft bed and tri fold cover. there was times pulling in and out of campgrounds i came very close to doing damage to both. once i knocked off the light under the 5ver. You can talk about clearance but cant prepare for everything. just my 2 cents with experience
