Unhappy Truck seats

I have a 2020 Ram Laramie 3500. The seats are horrible. Hard as hell and uncomfortable, Ram doesn't have upgrade seats available. Doe's anyone know of a company with better seats? Will semi air ride seats fit?

Air ride seats are too tall. I don't know if new Rams have more headroom than my 2008 had but I just had an inch or two so even a small increase in height means you will be banging your head.
. You are probably stuck with some padded covers. Truckers like the beaded covers that give your back a massage as you drive. Or an upholstery shop can replace the foam bolsters with something softer but that would be an expensive crapshoot.

Most seats from other makes will fit in your cab... test them all out in fords and chevys look at the suv seats (maybe the dodge high end suv seats would swap?) ... measure... then if you find some you like... start the search in the wrecker yards for a color close to yours... and with some work on the mounts a good fabricator can make them work in your truck...

you other option is a custom upholstery shop... a good shop can reconstruct your seats reshape and layer the padding/foam and contour the seats to fit you... and resew the covers to look like a stock seat... THIS would cost more than the seat swap above... I usually have been able to get near new leather seats for around $1000 for the pair w/ console

Hit your favorite online store and grab memory foam butt pillow.. 30 to 50.. it's worth a try.. May help.. you may pitch it.. I love mine.. I am using it now.. cheap fix maybe if it works for you.. if not.. pass it on.. try something else..
Good luck and let us know what you did and maybe better members

I had a 1999 Ram and I think that there was a town car that the seats would fit right in the mount holes. Sorry, cant remember which, probably the same manufacturer.

I bought new seat cushion foam and this was so much better. I think it was a Georgia seller I bought online, and if you go to ram forums and look for seat cushions this seller will come up most. Buy new seat foam!

If the back rest is bad then try the lumbar pillows to see if that helps.
