What do you have for a console? Please post pics.

Just curious to see what options are out there for consoles for the Verona. I have looked online at the ones offered by build 5 fab but was curious if there were any other options.

Thanks.

I've looked all over the net and can't find anything that I like other than the Build 5 option that Ray has. There are some pretty ugly ones out there built for cabs and not RVs. Also there is the small one sold by Raney's truck made out of wood and matches the instrument panel but it is almost useless because of its size...looks nice though.

So Ray, how do you like your console. I was thinking about getting one. Does it seem to fit as nicely as the pictures indicate? Seems to not interfere with going back into the RV. Are there access points to store things inside it? Thanks for your input.

Steve I found one from a couple who had one but sold their coach before installing it and I love it. It has lots of storage and is a perfect fit. It does say to bolt it down however I did not and it is heavy enough that it has not moved a bit. As far as being in the way while getting in the back it doesn’t effect that at all.

MJ19 -- That sounds great...think I will order one. Can't imagine someone selling their Verona before installing the console...buying it and selling RV??? How did you manage to find it? Classified, advertisement...? Probably not enough of them around for me to be so lucky to get one used. Anyway, thanks for the confirmation...I'll go that route.

Hi, I have also purchased the Build 5 unit for my Valencia and we are very happy with it. I opted for the one with the Scan Gauge cut out and installed a unit. The wiring is fairly straight forward and I also did not bolt it down, seems to stay put.

I have not wired it up yet. I am not good when it comes to wiring so I have been putting it off. I suppose I need to just dive in and tackle it.

Did you purchase the wiring kit with the console? I did and I’m glad I spent the extra few dollars. The wiring is very heavy duty and the fuse block is good quality. It saved me from running around gathering all the parts separately. The wiring diagram which came with the kit is very basic but not the end all be all if you choose to go another route. I’m sure others may have a suggestion for you as well.

Yes I did purchase the wiring kit from them. I have it in the console just waiting on me to install.
