It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

1999 FL-60 base, CAT motor 3126b, md3050 automatic 6 speed, I stepped on the break to disconnect the CC, and when I went to reset at a new speed, it didn’t work, I double checked both switches on the dash

Had a FL70 and the cruise control didnít like the switch for the exhaust brake. Turned out if I turned off the exhaust brake the cruise control worked normally

Are your brake lights stuck on?

That would do it.

Happy Glamping.

Had similar issue on an F350 years ago. Found a switch up under the dash that brake pedal linkage pressed on to disable CC; also turned on brake lights, I think. I adjusted distance to pedal linkage, but no help. Finally found that the ground wire behind horn on steering wheel had come off. Squeezed connector together a little and plugged back in. No more problems.
