Engine model

These numbers are stamped on the engine. What does it tell me?

Thanks again for any info you can provide.

Perhaps a little more info would help get you an answer:

Diesel Cummins?
Diesel Caterpillar?

What model year?

I do believe those were made with the Oldsmobile Tornado engine and transmission. That make of car had front wheel drive which they incorporated into the GMC motorhome. A true classic.

My memory is foggy but I'm thinking a 461 cu in engine.

Someone will come along with more knowledge.

The GMC motorhomes used either a 403 or 455 cubic inch displacement Oldsmobile engine. I believe the smaller engine was used in the shorter coach and the larger engine in the longer coach. Way ahead of their time. Very neat old units.
