Kodiak Opinions/Experience

Thinking about getting a MDT instead of 350/450/550 to tow a hot shot/auto trailer. I'm thinking the heaviest would be 25k and thought the bigger payload plus bigger chassis/brakes/suspension would be a plus. I like the commonality of the Duramax engine/Allison parts too vs MDT engines or newer emissions like DEF/DPF. It wouldn't be my DD but i would occasionally drive it when empty.

I move a big 5ver close to your weight 6k pin 17k on the axles and my 4500 Tookick does real well. No issues at all. Just my opinion

It’s an addiction, it becomes from can I tow this with my truck to what else could I do with this much power. Do it and don’t look back. Get a CDL too if you don’t already have one.
