Sewer Drain Hose

Question: With a Dometic macerator toilet #7640 do I really need a 3" sewer hose or will a 3/4" water hose work. I would adapt a cap to fit 3/4" hose and hook to dump valves. Yes I know it would be slower to dump, but I am in no hurry.

Thanks for your advice.

Spose it would work til it didn’t.

I imagine there are probably codes that say you should not do this, nothing to keep someone from then hooking that hose to a spigot…

I would attach hose at both ends to normal sewer hose connertors with adapters I would make and they would be secured so as to not be removable. The standard water hose fittings will be removed from the hose so no mix up possible.

I've had 2 motorhomes with tecma macerating toilets. Both had a Sanicon macerator on the output end.
