Sewer Drain Hose

Question: With a Dometic macerator toilet #7640 do I really need a 3" sewer hose or will a 3/4" water hose work. I would adapt a cap to fit 3/4" hose and hook to dump valves. Yes I know it would be slower to dump, but I am in no hurry.

Thanks for your advice.

Spose it would work til it didnít.

I imagine there are probably codes that say you should not do this, nothing to keep someone from then hooking that hose to a spigotÖ

I would attach hose at both ends to normal sewer hose connertors with adapters I would make and they would be secured so as to not be removable. The standard water hose fittings will be removed from the hose so no mix up possible.
