Hi. My user name is RecycledLuv and I am new to this forum. I would like to explain what it is I am in need of. I am founder of a ministry that caters to the underprivileged and homeless person. Because of what it is I do, I was GIVEN a old military bus (35footer) and want to convert it to a mobile shower and meal distribution center but have now idea how to begin. I figured that this is something that might have been experienced by at least some of you. I choose to ask you because there is no such website for those who own buses. I really do not know where to begin.

In the back of RV magazines, there are books on converting busses. Even tho you dont want full conversions, it would educate you oin holding tanks, water etc
The "Mobile Shower" part will almost insure that you are connected to both a water supply and sewer system.
Said another way, you can not "store" enough water or waste water for very many showers, particularly if those partaking are not familiar with Navy Showers.
Do you have a location to enable you to do this?
The food distribution part would be easier to self contain.
You Tube is probably your best information source for this. I know I've seen a ton of van conversions there, and the process should be pretty similar. I've seen at least a few bus (ie, "skoolie") conversions also. As someone said above, your "shower" ability is going to be pretty limited unless you have water and sewer available. It's just hard to carry enough water to do much there. Cooking and meal prep should be a lot easier. You might even look for some food truck conversions to get some ideas also. Good luck.
