Replacing Floor wood question - Beaver Marquis

I have a 97 Beaver Marquis that has rain damage to the interior. I stripped out the walls, ceiling and floors down to the support beams. It had 1/2 OSB.

I am wanting to put in laminate or hardwood floors and have a few questions.

1. I was told BC plywood would be best. Any suggestions?

2. After the plywood is installed, should I glue down the laminate or let it float on the plywood.

I don't want to make a mistake I am going to regret.

1. There really is nothing wrong with OSB so long as it stays dry. If you can afford BC plywood that is what I'd do.

2. The problem with a glue down is replacement. At some point if you want to replace it you'll have a lot of work to pull that out and may damage the sub-floor. Floating may be the better option.
