hnybare, you got to forgive this Yankee boy who just moved down and is tryin'
to blend in.

"She's got tongue enough for 10 rows of teeth"
That woman can talk

We really could use a little rain around here

And then I found this site.
Talkin’ Texan and Southern Slang | HOWDY, GET ROWDY

But it might be a while before I'm ready for for truly southern activities.

hnybare, I can't loose it all yet, going back for Christmas to visit with my 3 kids in New Hampshire, been down south only 4 months.
"The Liberal" among my three kids already told me "that I'm in the land of birthers and doomsday preppers and I should fit in".

Sorry, Henry, but FL is NOT the south. Or not the "real" South.

Florida is more North than any of the Midwest.

There are only a few truly Southern States with "Southern Hospitality" and Florida is NOT one of them.

It is South, but South of what I am not sure.

Sorry I'm having a bad morning. No water again and it's getting quite annoying.

Rod.

It's fun to "pretend" but even after only 4 months, sadly, I have to agree with you guys. I experienced the true southern (and mid-western) hospitality, which in my travels used to bowl me over after a lifetime of cold and obnoxious New England. New Hampshire used to be and exception (and solidly "red" state) but too many "transplants" migrating north from Massachusetts screwed up that state over decades. Florida, unfortunately, is inundated with "transplants" from the entire "obnoxious region" Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, etc., and then there is the "second wave" from Thanksgiving to May of the winter "transplants", rude, crude, impatient, aggressive drivers, etc., etc.
"The natives" particularly dislike the "winter crowd".
Now that I had to make a concerted effort to find industrial distributors, vendors and skilled labor to deal with hitch production and home services, like anyplace else there is good and bad, but the "good" is reasonable (cost wise) compared to New England.
The permanent and winter "transplants" particularly like the both coastal regions, that's where I am, arghhhhhh!.

Growing up near the beach has effected my vocabulary a bit!

Henry, give it some time, ya'll have not been there long enough to re-educate the folks. My daughter also mentioned migration from Mass. changing N H.

Time to go.

Larry at Herrin said I should pick up my truck this coming Friday. I am so excited about the bed and am ready to pack everything up and head to Florida for 2 months.

It's a combination of yours, marks and everything Larry has learned in making these beds. He told me this is his standard design for a 230 in WB model. Pretty damn excited.
