Smile Hello from Texas

My name is JC Canterbury. My wife and I have been rving for most of 9 yrs. we currently have a 38ft grand junction and an f-350

Gregg at RV haulers is fixin to deliver my 2009 volvo 780. I have one of herrys ET hitches installed and am looking forward to using this hitch.

Angie and I meet Jack and daniel Mayer in Colorado this summer and drove his old volvo. So I guess he is to blame for this "new Truck"

We are also looking at a new 45ft new horizons or continental coach RV.

Been lurking on a few sites for a while. I was going to be in hutch for the HDT rally, but ended up in hospital with pneumonia and could not make it.

Well guess we are off to full timing in 2015.

See y'all down the road.

JC

Btw. Be nice. It's is my first ever post.

Welcome to the other side of the forum. Met Gregg in person at the Rally. Nice Guy, you will be very happy with your new truck I'm sure. Can't help with the trailer, yet.

Welcome to the forum and to Gregg's "Club". I wish he was converting HDTs when I bought mine, it would have saved me lots of repairs and on the road "excitement".

Hello from someone who hopes to do what you have done! What made you decide you had to get an HDT? I'm guessing you do a lot of miles every year.

JC,

Welcome to the HDT world. Sorry you missed the Rally. A good time was had by all. I am just around the corner from you in Wylie. Been using a HDT since Spring of 2010 to pull our 5th wheel. Feel free to give me a holler if you need assistance with anything. I am "RickW" on the other forum.

Welcome to forum,
Congrat's on the new truck.
I have talked to Gregg and he will be doing my 2014 Volvo VNL42T730 deck/hitch/Smart Car loader when the truck arrives. Please do post pictures of your setup when everything is done.

I am upgrading my 5th wheel to a heavier one and my f-350 was not going to work. It barely handles my grand junction. And we are going full time in 2015.

An HDT is going to be a lot more comfortable, too. Looking forward to seeing it all hooked up.

Yeah...really looking forward to seeing it all together. I talked to Gregg and he said he was heading for the warm weather leaving our -11 temps of Alberta behind. Congrats I'm sure you will be overjoyed. When my new truck arrives Gregg will be doing a full deck and Smart Car hydraulic loader.
