North Dakota HDT conversation

I am about ready to buy a 379 peterbuilt. I plan to convert it to an rv. Called the state hot line to get all the information I needed, when I said I was going to convert a class 8 truck they had no clue what that was then said that you can't convert titles in North Dakota. Has anyone converted one in ND and if so who did you talk to about doing it?

When I did mine in Nebraska I went on line to the state DMV regs and started reading. I found the clause that stated the requirements. When I went to the county to get things done the counter girl pulled out the book with the same regs. Something titled like converting bus or class 8 truck to motorhome. Keep reading.

When I did mine in Nebraska I just went to the DMV. The lady pulled out the book and asked me did you do this and that on so on. I just kept saying yes. I wrote a check and got my plates. But then when I got home I had to start doing all the stuff I told them I did. I didn't even started on it yet.
