Starting the ball rolling for buying our rv hauler

Has anyone worked with RV Hauler to purchase their tractor? We have decided to get one of the volvos and use it as a motor home until we find our fifth wheel. Kind of exciting! RK retires in a year and we are working on becomeing full timers. Haven't been on here for awhile. We found one fifth wheel that we both liked but still have to do some shopping around of course. The one we lked was a Momentum 380, I think. I have a feeling that the ones we BOTH like will be few and far between :-)

Hi MkOwen, Sounds like you have a plan! I have no knowledge of RV Haulers so I looked them up ... interesting. The Momentum 380TH is a toy hauler, is that what you are interested in? If you don't mind me asking, what will go into the toy hauler? Whatever it may be, the Volvo tractor should handle it with ease, and it will make for a sweet rig!

Enjoy!

There is a rally in Kansas in October National HDT Rally – October 8-16, 2017 I expect there will more than 75 units there from the budget friendly to the most lavish 2017's. I have met Gregg from RV Haulers, now RVH Lifestyle and found him quite good at sharing information on how to find your own truck and turning it into a hauler. He has taken on a couple of partners and they are also building haulers in the U.S. as well as Canada.

My husband hopes to have an Elio (do you know what that is?) He has one on order. I don't know that we'll need the toy hauler with the volvo but he still seems to want it just for a workroom for projects, I think.

We are having a video conference with him on Thursday. I'm looking forward to talking to him. I've watched a lot of his videos. He's very thorough and explains everything. It's impressive. :-)
