If you go to the HDT forum on the Escapees website you can read about these trucks for days.

We pulled a 43ft Travel Supreme with a Peterbilt 387. Nice ride and worked great. However no comparison to our motorhome Keith an ISX 600 hp and 1920 lbs ft of torque, my is easier to drive and set up, way more storage with plenty of pulling power for anything. Big 365 tires on steer. Air disc brakes all around, IzfS on steer and 3 stage jale, can't beat it. Plus it has air sleep number bef, satellite and 4 RV's, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, 27 cu ft household fridge, c. 2 pure sine wave inverters, 12,5 kw power plant backed up with solar and an honest 9 mpg way better rig for us with way more usable room. No worse than a cab over to work on. We would not go back to the truck for anything, but that S just us.

Volvo’s ishift has been the industries best auto transmission for a long time, but Eaton is finally catching up. And yes they are supposed to have the smoothest ride, but sway in the wind a bit because of it.

Donvel motion controls take care of that.

I owned two Newmar high line coaches from 2007 to 2010 and then ended up out of rv'ing until recently. Granted, I've entered the truck market at the bottom of the product line, but having been around both coach types, I'd have to disagree with your assertion about motor homes.... If one were to buy a top of the line Ikon or Showhauler, with all the foo foo and slides that your Entegra has, I feel they'd be safer in a crash as the truck is in FRONT and not that nine foot wide windshield... Just my two cents, but I've seen Showhauler insides that were as nice as the Essex and London Aire interiors....

There are also a couple made specifically for motorhomes, SuperSteer is one and Source Engineering has another. Haven't felt the need for them with my rig though.
