'04 W-22 DASH QUESTION....Tachometer

I have on '04 Mountain Aire on a W-22 chassis.
Driving home, I noticed the "tach" which had been working with no issues, was apparently "stuck" at 1700 RPM. Transmission would upshift or downshift & the tach didn't move. Stopped & filled with gas, started the engine & tach worked fine, until a stoplight close to home. When it downshifted, second to first gear, the needle moved, then back to 1700 RPM. Stayed that way til I got home.
Unloaded the coach, started it to put under carport, worked fine! And has worked fine, two additional times starting & running it.
Any ideas as to what could be the issue, or causing it?
Does this mean having to replace the instrument cluster, or what?
Thanks for your help!

The Actia dash gauges are very problematic but this is the first time I've seen the symptoms you mentioned.

Not sure what's going on there, perhaps some others will reply that have more knowledge.

Most likely it is just the gauge motor failing. We offer a gauge only repair service for $100 which we would replace all gauge motors: https://www.ultrarvproducts.com/1052...r-Replacement)

Thanks for the information.
Shipping it from the East Coast(Virginia), the repair time, & return shipping would take approximately 10 days? Or more? (just an estimate is fine).
I would be trying to calculate when may be the best time for me to remove the cluster, & have it fixed.

You can ship USPS Priority Mail, takes 2-3 days and then we will turn it around within 2 days and then 2-3 back to you so that is about right.
