I have a P32 chassis, and it has what looks like the original spare. Bottom of the propane compartment. that is much lighter than the W22-24-R26 wheels.

The stock steel wheel on that chassis is 6.75” x 22.5”. It is 8 lugs and hub centered. It is almost impossible to find these wheels new. I searched for a few years with zero luck.

That said, these wheels are available from RV salvage yards across the country. Here is one source. There are many others if you use the right search words.

Not sure I would chance that, except as a temporary means of getting off the side of the highway, BUT the sizes are so close it may not matter. I'm not a tire expert, but know that spacing on the duals is important, and so is revs.per mile. Tire tables may hold the answer to your question.

Yes, anyone changing from Michelin to other brands likely runs into the numerical difference but as noted the sizes are very close. I had to go to the 245/75-22.5 when I went to Bridgestone tires and there seems to be plenty of room between them. In fact, I remove and install my tire sensors by reaching between the duals to the valves on the inside. Lots of space.

Thats good to know. Although I was hoping to get away with changing the fronts before the rears. I wonder if its possible to still do that with the different tire size.

I read RMFUN's question a little different. Seemed like he was asking if you could run a 235/80R22.5 and a 245/75R22.5 side by side on the same corner of the vehicle. I don't think this is a very good idea. In a one off situation and if it were only to get you to the next town with a decent tire shop maybe but IMO this isn't advisable for any length of time.

I may have misunderstood the question though.

You can definitely run a set of 245/75R22.5's in place of a set of 235/80R22.5's. I wouldn't even be afraid of swapping the two fronts to 245/75's first then swapping the 4 duals a year or so down the road.

I have 245/75's on my Adventurer. Came originally with the Michelin 235/80's. No detectable difference except the Toyo's are a much nicer riding tire.

Yes, that is what I was asking. I figured you could use a different size on the front, but not mixed on one side of the rear.

Thanks

Thanks to everyone for replies and info. I have calls in to find a used rim at the places mentioned.
