How much difference is there between the years on a chassis like this? Different transmission, AAPB mostly. It seems like an awful long time for a chassis to just sit around.

Wow, I wonder if the house was replaced. I don't know everything, but I've heard of and seen 1 to 2 year old chassis, 2 years old being somewhat rare. In the very rare case, I've heard of 3 years old... though I've never seen a 3 year older chassis. 4 years older, I'll pass.

FOR WHAT ITS WORTH, and IN MY OPINION, there is no way Tiffin had a W-22 sitting around for 4 years. Where are you seeing this "2007" coach advertised? I agree with CamJam1- gotta be a typo, or a deliberate fraudulent ad.

That is the wayI see most of them.
My question on this would be what transmission and recall info.

Just an update; I am supposed to get a picture of the Tiffin sn. and a pic of the loading sticker but so far nothing. The unit is at a show in St. Cloud and the salesman i"ve been dealing with is at the store watching it. Perhaps middle of the week I will hear something.

This is getting very interesting. The thread title and original post question a 2007 Tiffin house on a 2003 chassis. The link in post #7 is to a 2004 Tiffin Allegro Bay, and the pics could be a 2004 or 2005, but definitely not a 2007. A 2003 chassis under a 2004 house is not at all uncommon and while not as often, a 2003 chassis under a 2005 house is not unheard of, especially if the chassis is from the end of the 2003 chassis year and the house is from the beginning of the 2005 house year.

The add now says it is a 2004. Unless I am completely mixed up I am sure it said 2007 at one time. I even asked the salesman at the time about the age difference and he said it's not unusual for that to happen. I could see where it would be easy to hit the 7 instead of the 4.

I'm with CamJam1 agreeing it was a typo & no it has since been fixed. For one, a 2007 would not have been advertised at that low a price. A Google search on 07's has them listed in the $50k range. 03's & 04's are being listed in the range of that ad.

Also the salesman doesn't know what he's talking about (they rarely do). Chassis don't set around that long.

I was able to find this in one of my emails with the salesman. At least now I know I wasn't going crazy. The stock number now agrees with the original number. The price is what really threw me for a loop. Well, I guess that will be the end of looking at this one.
