454 exhaust studs

I've got a 96 P30 with the 454 that I'm about to remove the stock exhaust and add a set of headers and a magnaflow muffler. I'm wondering how hard it is to remove the exhaust studs? I've heard that they sometimes break but is that up by the exposed nut or down at the head? If I have to drill any out and use an stud remover, I'll have to plan on getting the front wheels taken off to be able to get to them.

Thanks, John

I sprayed mine twice a day with PB Blaster for a week and all of them came right out with a regular socket set.

Good idea Mike!! Start spraying days ahead. Tap the nut lightly with a small ballpin while you're spraying. Use a wrench or bar to rock the nut back and forth a little before you try loosen it. Good luck. Tony
