I keep my RPM's under 3200 in all cases!
As seen in my signature, I have the Ultra RV ECM / TCM controllers, and I think they are a great investment and an easy DIY.
I also added the PPE deep aluminum Tx pan and installed a temp gage in the dash. Even pulling Monarch in first gear with the 2 pancake fans on, the Tx never goes above 195, which my local shop says is fine. I use the extra-large oil and Tx filters too. All this because we work old Jezebel pretty hard here in central Colorado when pulling our classic car to the shows.
