I gotta say I agree with Arch. With auto manufacturers offering 100,000 mi. drive train protection, you know they demand a lot out of there parts manufacturers. If you are racing, then some of the aftermarket parts are over engineered for that application. I learned years ago that on valve springs for instance, there are only a few companies that manufacture them. The car builders get the "firsts" and everyone else get the rest and put their name on them, with the exception of Isky gold springs. You don't have to go to the dealer to get AC Delco parts, Napa and Others have them, you just have to ask.

Just an update on the problem. I replaced plugs and wires and it runs like new. Thanks to all for help and suggestions.

If the problem comes back again, get these Magnum stainless steel wires designed for 8.1 rv application, they will take the heat.
