Yes, he replaced the fuse. It lasts for awhile and repeats. They couldn't figure it out so they gave him bunch of fuses. I was looking for a better fix if someone else had the same problem.

Dennis, tell him to check the wiring harness going over the metal bend at to top of steering post. It may have a burr on it, file down and place a wiring sleeve around wires going over bend. "007"
