I get a special discount on all my parts, but I think around $16 is the going price. I just replaced mine last weekend and as best I can remember that was the retail price.

I purchased the AC air filter in November from the local Workhorse work center for $19.34.

I think I paid about $15 from Napha--I brought two--one to change and one to take on the trip with me.

Let's see a $19.95 AC Delco filter or a $6.00 Fram Filter ... $5000.00 motor ... let's see .. OH yes make mine AC Delco no question!

Heck, if you are anywhere near Fairbanks,Alaska, go to TipTop Chevrolet. Back in 2002 I bought both the air and oil filter and with tax it was only $12.59. Might be worth the trip up there anyway as an excuse to get them cheaper.

Have to agree with you driVer. any time I see a Fram product and it has the Honeywell name on it, it makes me cringe. I retired from the original Honeywell before Allied Signal bought them out, and as far as I'm concerned Fram makes nothing but junk.

Warren, was that your RV dealer or a Workhorse dealer? Did the price include install?
Did you question the cost with "the dealer"?
