Allison Fluid Change Advice

I failed to change the Allison transmission (1000) spin-on filter at 5K miles as recommended by Allison. I now have 9K miles on the coach

The recommended fluid change is 50k miles.

My question: should I change the fluid now (while changing the filter) because I've exceeded the initial mileage on the initial filter change by 4K miles

Remember the magnetic donut on top of the filter, don't throw it away. Wipe the donut and observe for any metallic contaminants. Follow the tightening instructions on the box. Pre-fill the filter before replacing the new one and set the magnet on top of the filter and re-install.
