Ultra, that is my suspicion I just wanted to be sure there wasn't some dastardly reason it might be on I was overlooking.

bobfo, I will check for a switch on the pedal and see if that's fruitful. It has occasionally been intermittent in illuminating, so I'm hoping for such an issue - easily rectified.
