Back-up camera

It quit. The red switch glows but no screen. Any ideas would help.
I hope its a fuse, but where do i look. I have a picture of a fuse block that shows location D3 for back up camera feed. I have not found a fuse block that looks like this. I have fuses above the speedometer, and under the hood in front of the master cylinder. Where else do I look,
Thanks, Don

Don,

My back up dash monitor has a switch that provides for two different feeds into it. You might check to see if yours is so equipped, and is possibly in the wrong position. I would think if the power switch is lit (red light glows) when turned on, that the fuse is good.

With 40 plus yrs. in electronic, first I would rap the dash above the monitor
with the heel of my hand. While you are watching the monitor for any sign
of life. If that does not work, work ALL the switches, knobs and slides.
Again while whatching the monitor for any sign of life.

And last, while your wife is watching the monitor, take a wood handle such
is on a broom and rap the rear camera ever so gently. Again she is looking
for any sign of life on the monitor.......That's as good as I can do long distance.
Good luck....coop

Coopcolt:
When I was in electronics in the Air Force we called that "brogan" (or kicking) maintenance.

Also could have had rodents chewing on the wiring, however, I would double check the A/B camera switch or button.

What brand camera is it? We had some issues with our Sony. Turned out to be the rear camera itself but it started acting up before going completely blank.
