You are the second owner in as many days to question the mileage I've reported as contained in the WCC warranty records database. That info is based on info provided to WCC by a dealer seeking reimbursement for whatever they did. I have no reason to think it isn't correct, but I guess anything is possible.
FWIW, I believe you should be able to determine the actual mileage from a scanner on the OBDII port, but it MAY require a GM "Tech 2" scanner to access the mileage data, IRDK. I believe most all Chevy/GM dealers will have a Tech 2 scanner.

I hear that a lot. I wonder if it is a carry-over from the old days when there was a mechanical cable connecting the tranny to the ODO. I'm guessing the idea was that you could lift the rear wheels off the ground, run the vehicle in reverse, and thereby "dial back" the ODO reading.
Anybody willing to admit doing this, or at least know if it is actually possible?
I'm betting it can't be done anymore, with everything being done with "fly by wire" these days.

As kids we did do that, ran it in reverse to lower the miles. Don't remember the car, it was moms and from the 60s 70s..
Problem was that reverse gear was lower then first, so the mileage was real slow to come down.
I believe newer vehicles with electronic sensed odometers don't do that.

After doing some digging it looks like there was an unreported odometer rollback. The seller never disclosed this. Needless to say we aren’t too happy at this point.
Thanks for the help.

Another question. The odometer currently reads 44,000 miles. Yet the recall work was performed at 51,793. We also have an inspection record from 2018 that shows 46,820 miles. Vin number has been quadruple checked.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks again

If the above is correct, I seems the "rollback" took place since 2018. I would think that makes finding the culprit. If your father bought from a dealer, I would think they should be willing to compensate him for this deception.
ODO rollbacks are illegal, as you know. SOMEBODY needs to be held responsible, IMO

Absolutely. We have records that were located inside the rv, A carfax report as well as the mileage when the recall work was performed. Someone will be held responsible. We will take the guilty parties to court if needed.
Thanks for the help.

That chassis had 3 recalls and all were completed. If you want the details as shown on the "build sheet", send me an email so I can attach it to a reply. edgray1@gmail.com

Welcome to iRV2.com and the workhorse forum
That is a 2007 model year W-22 chassis. It had only one recall, namely 51101-C, to replace the OE Bosch calipers. WCC records show it was done 11/29/2010 at 5,826 miles.

Can you look up my coach and see if the recall work was performed for the ABS? I have the dreaded communication error, causing the coach to go into limp mode.

Thank you!

WELCOME to irv2.com and the Workhorse forum
That vin is for a 2006 W-24 sold to WBGO. It has never had ANY recalls issued by WCC / Navistar.
I'm not remembering a recall involving the ABS system, and the W-24 was not included in the "Brake recall" because it did not use Bosch brake calipers.
You may need to visit an ASC with the GM "Tech II" tool to get your ABS related code checked out.
Since yours has the J-72 AAPB, I suggest you learn as much as you can about that system, too.
If you want the "build sheet" for your chassis, send me an email.
