I'M installing a Henderson rear trac bar on my Workhorse chassis. I see wheir you have to remove the Bumper Mount to install the rear trac bar plate. I cannot see any real purpose for the Bumper Mount. What is the function of the Bumper Mount?

Are you talking the "Like Air" bag (rubber) looking like I suppose a rubber mount. Yes you have to put this back. It is a working part of the suspension.

Please review the installation article I wrote here about the SS302.

Henderson Track Bar

You "MUST" replace the bumper, (Like Air Bag) YosemiteBobR said it best, It's a working part of the rear suspension. You will need to use the replacement bolts included in the SS302 kit, they are longer.
