I have a CarChip Pro Model 8226 on order I will get it this week. It is only $100. http://www.familysafemedia.com/carch...6_car_chi.html it records up to 300hrs of data depending on scan rate. And can be down loaded to computer for a much better review of trips and/or driving habits.

Send a message via AIM to Oemtech
* $100 not to bad .
* But, you can only record 4 codes at a time.
* No real time monitor like Car Code or AutoTap. But, again they are more expensive and you must have your laptop attached to record the data.
* If you want a laptop interface. Then for $89 plus s/h try Proscan OBD-II

No! I have not got the unit yet. But what I understand is that it records then you down load.
There is just too much information to repeat just go to and read for your self.
And Yes I have a laptop that I can look at when driving. (GPS, Stocks, Weather, Wireless Internet) I setup then drive and then just look at screen to screen.
