I have been hearing stories about 8.1 having c/c issues of late. Has anyone seen anything from Workhorse about it??? 2004 Southwind 32v 8.1 liter. Any info would be great. Thanks to all and Merry Christmas to all . Perry

My left side broke apart on the inside the end of last October or so.

Not likely....since Navistar closed down Workhorse in 2012, and then sold the shuttered company to AMP in 2013. AMP has done nothing, AFAIK. Ed

But Navistar kept the Workhorse parts department in operation and it is called Uptime Parts Uptime Parts. You can not order parts directly from them. They only sell to workhorse service centers and through them you can order parts.

YEP, that's all true....but my comment you referenced was in reply to the OP's question asking if anybody had "seen anything from Workhorse". I hope you'll agree that UTP pretty much operates "out of sight".

Yes I understood your comment. However, my comment was not meant to correct anything you said but merely to provide information to readers of this thread so they would understand that even though Workhorse was sold and is no longer in the RV business, parts are still being supplied for the Workhorse rv and commercial chassis' previously produced. IMHO it is important for the value of our rigs that potential buyers understand this.
