Changing rear tone ring sensors on workhorse UFO
Hi,
Coach threw an ABS and ATC warning light this past weekend, using the Wabco toolkit software I was able to pin it down to a rear tone ring sensor.
I got the coach in to the shop and they found that both rear sensors are in bad shape so they ordered replacements.
The shop told me the wheels need to be removed to replace the sensors by their supplier. I had called Brazels and they said they can be replaced without removing rhe wheels.
I 100% trust both the shop and Brazels, but I am.a bit confused on this one. The shop tells me their supplier knows workhorses.
Has anyone done this on a UFO?
Coach is an Itasca Latitude.
Thanks,

If the sensor mounting brackets are rusted badly, it will be much easier to pull the wheels, which isn't a big job in a shop that works on trucks and Workhorse chassis.

Do your wheel "fender" sections swing up to make more room to get the wheels off?
If so, you might want to re and re the screws at the bottom so it's easier and quicker for the mechanic. Be sure to point it out to them also when you take it in.

Thanks, will have a look. Will post a photo if I am unsure.
Normally they put the coach up on a lift.

I just had the rear tires on my UFO Chassis replaced on Wednesday. Nothing needs to be removed to R&R the rear tires.
