Check engine light update

We bought a 2004 Thor Infinity W22 chassis August of 2023. We have been plagued with a bank 2 knock sensor check engine light that lights when you start back up after driving 100 miles or so when you restart the engine. Thus far we have replaced the bank 2 knock sensor and connecting wire, the crankshaft position sensor, run it almost 1000 miles on ethanol free gas and the light keeps coming on at the same times. I am presently 200 miles from home and recently changed the MAF sensor out for a new one. I leave next week headed home. I plan on disconnecting the negative battery cable for an hour or so before I head back as some say this resets the ECM so it will relearn on the way home.
I know a couple of you have had this issue and I’ve tried just about every one of your suggestions. I guess if it lights again on the way back to New Braunfels I’ll call a real mechanic and see if they can get to the root of this issue. Any additional thoughts would be helpful.Pat

What are the actual codes you are seeing?

Have you seen any since you changed the MAF?

A Google search says it's a fuel injector problem. .

I had P0332, eventually tracked the issue to leaking exhaust donut gaskets at the collector

Greetings All,
As stated in my original message I recently replaced my MAF sensor. I will be driving the motorhome next week for the first time since I replaced the MAf. When reading about replacing the MAF a couple blogs mentioned resetting the ECM. A couple different methods were discussed. Turning on the key and pumping the pedal to the floor three times, disconnecting the negative battery post for an hour.
Did those of you that have replaced the MAF use some sort of ECM reset?

Without a code reader that will clear codes, the easiest way to clear all codes is to disconnect the NEG wire from the battery and touch it to the POS post for about 15 seconds. This dumps all codes.

I have. Code reader that will clear the codes. My question was concerning the ECM and clearing it to put it back into a learn mode to recognize the new MAF sensor.
Thanks for the comment.

Morning Patsslab,

I don't think there is a relearn relative to the MAF for the 8.1L GM engine in our Workhorse chassis. If you have codes you should clear them. Once clear of codes just drive.

To be sure why don't you contact Jon at Brazelsrv.com. Brazel's is the source for knowledge of the ECM programming on our chassis.

Update,
I drove the motorhome 200 miles today since putting in the new MAF sensor. The first 170 miles, no check engine light. Stopped and filled up with gas and within 2 miles I had a check engine light for bank 2 knock sensor. When I clear the light with my OBD2 reader it doesn’t come back until the next time I turn the engine off. This has been the scinerio for the last year.
If the light is on when I park the motorhome for the night, it will not be on the next morning after the engine has cooled and it never locks into the memory.
Thoughts

Could be a bad sensor, check wiring on each one,, the can get beat up from wear and heat,,

Did you notice and signs when driving,,, I rattle in engine or a ping, spark rattle.... Possibe funny decel and idle before stop, surge etc...

They are not hard to change and they can fail .. heat, wiring,... only issue they are in block and coolant jacket will leak a bit, have a pan and work fast...

Check for an exhaust leak around the collector donut gasket on the side where the knock sensors was failing. The hot exhaust gases from a failed donut gasket can blow directly at the knock sensors which are only a few inches away. When I found mine were leaking one of them was so eroded I could spin it with my fingers when the exhaust was cold.
