Is there a sensor wire that could have been bumped? How can I reset the warning?
I believe if you look at the side of the engine oil pan you will see a sensor with a wire connector attached. It is possible the connector could have been hit. There is also a remote chance draining the oil caused the sensor to stick in the low oil position and didn't return to a safe level position.
It may or may not correct itself with driving.
The sensor should be replaceable or may just need cleaning to regain accuracy. I would check for signs of damage or loose wires first. I don't know of a reset but it might be wise to check your owner's manual.
