3 years and no problems with my CrossFire - same principle and basic design as the Cat's Eye.
Added benefit - with the Cat's Eye/CrossFire systems you only need one TPMS sensor per side (4 total: front L/R, back L/R). I've had my TSTs on without issue for all 3 years as well. This will save you about $100 on sensors.

big... don't seem right calling someone piggy, but What chassis and year is your Newmar? I also have steel wheels and I took the simulators off to measure the hand hole in the steel wheel. Kit #DL4SST seems to be the best match. It has a rubber stabilizer that is 4-1/8 X 3. Best I can measure my hand hole in the steel wheel is 4 X 2.9. The valves themselves that come with this kit look like they'll need to be bent. Did your installer order the kit or did you? Did you have them installed in Florida and if so where? Thanks Bob

Floridakamper- I installed the cats eyes myself. However any commercial truck tire shop can install them for you. I really would look at the crossfire/cat's eyes. It makes the process of checking the tires and inflating so much easier.

Purchased from Borg equipment & supply co direct. Part #s on order 2#VH8509 . 2#VH573E. 2#DLSTB3. Being steel not aluminum the guide rubber (to hold valve from vibration & breaking) don't have wheel simulator off see exact measurement of rubber guide. It's approx 4 " long & 1 1/2" wide. is slotted at both ends. Yes did have to adjust the long one to properly fit the through the outer wheel hole. These now are on my 2nd set of tires, Work well. another questions can contact me (561) 842-3059. Tom
