Just because parts were changed in the past doesn't mean things are not sticking. They don't change linkage.

Have you lifted the pedal after a lockup ?

The master cylinder pump rod may be out of spec (too long reach). Brake fluid can attract moisture if the system is not 100 percent leak free. An airtight system excess moisture is rare.
