I'm leaving on a 5400 mile trip on Tuesday and today I noticed that one of my condensor electric fans is not working. Does anyone have the part number for this fan. I'll be calling Redlands Truck on Monday to see if they can get one in. If they can't get it for me than I'll have to buy one from a dealer along my route. I plan on calling ahead so the part will be where I'm at when I get there. And yes, I know it's a bad fan because I reversed the wires and it still doesn't work. I've looked at after- market fans and it would take some altering to get it to fit.

Just give them a call.

I sure hope you're right Driver. I live about 14 miles from Redlands Truck and if they have it in stock, it'll be a quick fix for me. I have them do all my major work. Keith and KC are great to work with.

You should get by without either fan. The clutch fan will spin up a bit more often. Good luck!!

TandW - That's what I was thinking. That's why I'm leaving even if I can't get one today. I'll get one on my trip. I have all the Workhorse dealers along my route printed out. The bad part is my first leg is the hottest through the Southern California desert. I just called Redlands Truck and they're checking on it for me.

Fred, if I needed a part for that engine I would have my NAPA guy cross-ref to the Chevy-GMC 3500 van. That's where I always start because Workhorse did not build it. Good luck!!

Well, it's in. Redlands did not have the exact one. They had another one that which I got working. The mounting holes were a little farther apart and it was 1/4 inch shorter. A drill and some shim stock took care of it. I would have held out for the correct one if I had the time. The correct number is W8000087. Redlands had W8001120.
