Difference between P30 and G30 chassis?

Hi, I have a 1992 Fleetwood Bounder 34J with a Chevy P30 chassis. I am trying to find a new spindle for the left front and not having any luck (Iím in Woodland, WA right now, but searching further afield as well.)

It seems like there is a lot of G30 stuff out there and it looks so much like the P30. Is there any chance the two are compatible?

Also, any leads on a spindle?

Any info appreciated.

The G30, P30 and P30 motorhome chassis are all slightly different. I'm not sure about the spindles , but the outer tie rod ends on a motorhome are about 3/4" than a regular P30. I have a G30 class C and a P30 motorhome and the front hubs are different.

Did you try RockAuto.com?
I would give Jon Brazel a call 800-417-4559. Even if they don't have any, Jon will recommend some sources. Brazels is only 55 miles north of you in Centralia.

Good Luck,
Bill

We called so many places, itís hard to remember, but the name sounds vaguely familiar. We may have found something through CL. Will know tomorrow, otherwise will have to see about Brazilís. Thanks!

I just had my '88 Winnie serviced and found shavings in one wheel. I guess I dodged the bullet unlike you. Whew!
The thought of trying to get new spindles out in the middle of nowhere, YIKES!
Good Luck...
