drive shaft bearing/center bearing/hanger bearing

Looking for replacements for our 06 W20 which have developed 1/2" of slop. I've found them called by all of the 3 names listed in title. Believe the Workhorse part # is W8001030. There is also a spline behind the aft bearing that I think should have a boot covering but does not. If anyone can tell me if both the fore and aft bearings are the same, if the part # is correct, possibly an addition non Workhorse part # and if there is a boot available for the spline it would be greatly appreciated. Any other information would also be appreciated.

While lubing my coach last week, I noticed about 1/8 in play in rear most hanger while the others were a lot less, maybe 1/16 in. I called Jon Brazel and he said should be ok. I have 101,000 miles and no vibration.

Do you have a noticeable vibration? How many miles on your coach?

There is no boot over the splines. But make sure you grease that spline fitting too.

There is a possibility that one name is for the assembly ( bearing and it's rubber mount ), and the bearing and mount could be purchased separately .

When I started at Chrysler in the 1970's they had 5 different names for an " Ignition coil "
