"International Commerce Commission" I believe and it should flash you clearance and running lights.

Pretty close - actually it's "Interstate" Commerce Commission. They are an ex-agency that used to regulate trucking. We used to deal with their regs back in the 70s when I was a diesel mechanic (that's what they called them before they were known as Service Technicians ) at a trucking firm. And yes, the switch does flash your clearance and running lights.

That's ONE reason for the ICC switch.

Wish they all had them. All my MH's never had one. Pain to have to turn on all lights for passing clearance. Head lights and clearance lights should all be on seperate switches. Just like the big trucks.

Amen rvten... I can say that only one coach, my old 77 Brave, had the switch.

I have a 2004 Pace Arrow and the ICC switch momentarily lights the clearance lights across the top rear of my motorhome.

Before CBs there was a series of light signals that were used by truckers. Flash of the running lights at night was a warning of a Highway Patrol or other "Smokey" ahead. When passing a single flash was "you are clear" followed by a double flash of "thank you". Daylight was a flash of the headlights and a double blink of the brakes. Newmars have the ICC switch. Dating myself?
