Fuel Pump/Filter

Quick question: Is there a fuel filter on a 2005 c5500 8.1 gas.
Also, I can get an ACDelco fuel pump for about $300. Anyone have any experience with these?

I don't know of any gasoline engine that doesn't have a fuel filter. Can't tell you exactly where it is but online search shows it to be an inline. Quite often, those are located within the frame rail. Follow the fuel line from the tank.

Fuel filter for our '04 Pace Arrow (8.1 gasser) is in the frame on the driver's side just aft of the rear wheels.
Fuel pump is in the gas tank.

Ask me how I know.
