Gas Fuel filter change

The last item on my maintaince list was changing the Fuel filter. I have 22,000 miles and coming up on 4 years.

I purchased the Omey and friend adapter a couple of years ago and had it with me just incase.

The change was easy using the wrenchs listed in the one page instruction sheet. 10 min to clean all the undercoat of the lines and 15 min to do the swap.

I cut open the filter and found NOTHING. So I will keep the new AC filter in the onboard tool box incase I buy some DIRTY GAS.

Thanks to Driver and Omey

Good pics! Where did all that rust proofing come from? Sometimes they get sloppy and that stuff gets on the driveshaft and creates a vibration.

His assembly doesn't look like the ones our parts guy has. No square block, just a round piece with the port to screw onto the filter.

Roger that. I believe that the OEM-Tech production units were these types of square adapters. They were/are very popular and they delivered several hundred. The WCC part is rounder as you said or at minimum 6 sided.

I'll check one tomorrow and get part number and photo if I think it's worthwhile.

Right now ..... bedtime. See you in the morning

Driver,

The Monaco Wakarusa Ind Plant did a complete job of rust-proofing the under side of the coach and the chassis. I cleaned the inside of the alum rims and such when I got it home after taking delivery with 27 miles on it.

I have had no bad vibration with the WH chassis so far , except for the leaking optional fuel fill capoff that was a easy fix.

I see Oemy's and OEM engineering is not offering the adapter anymore. I liked the stainless steal construction and 4 sides all for easy wrenching

Oemy will no doubt respond on the morrow but I expect that production costs vs revenue sort of put a damper on the product. Now that Oemy & OEM-E would have to compete with the WCC adapter, it would even reduce the profit margin even further.
