Well, new RGFS is in and no luck. I’m guessing maybe the pump(?) since relay clicks and there is power to it?
Now to try and not lose any appendages releasing the brake this way is it going to damage the (not sure what it’s called) actuator that the pump pressurized with the spring?

Disconnect the harness from the pump. Check for continuity in the pump motor with a VOM. Tap the pump motor, perhaps the brushes are iffy. If the wheels are blocked and the coach cannot move you could rig a jumper from battery to the motor with some lamp cord or similar and try to jog the motor by momentary contact.

I actually did try the tap tap deal hoping for the best there lol. I just carry a test light with a voltage display with me. May have to go to HF if I can get a lift for one and I can try that. Do you think trying to force strong 12v at the pump may trigger it?

Is one of these pins easier than other to remove or all a PIA no matter what?

If you've got a quick and easy way to "jump" the motor, then go for it. Just please be sure the wheels are blocked.

You're system is older than mine. But I see the pin circled with green as the disconnect point.

Mine don't look like that.. the picture I am seeing.. looks like what my brake peddle travel arm looks like.. just to be sure not brake peddle.. can you have someone stamp on brakes and see if moves.. if does.. it's the brakes.. not a/p..

100% sure it’s the trans brake. When you push in yellow brake handle on the dash the yellow circle moves down. Put it in park it moves up. Take out of park it moves down. Currently neither operation move it anywhere.
In the picture under yellow circle is trans brake and connected to that is the drive shaft. To the right of the green circle is the transmission

I’m assuming that I cant get any slack out of the treaded rod on the actuator?

Man.. you still going at it.. your out of my league... so just guessing and hopefully others will chime in.. but if you can't pull pin.. from what I recall reading and I would not bet on it..
Yes.. use phone to record exactly the number of threads you have showing so you can get adjustments right.. not sure how it will affect over travel switch.. I believe it's last resort.. why I don't know..
Why don't you want to pull pin?

You should be able to adjust slack in the fitting so as to disable the brake using a pair of open ended wrenches (I think 3/4 inch size, or close to that)

Yes zero luck so far. Worked on this everyday. Pin gets about 1/3 way out and can’t get further. The pivot point with a bolt. Is there anything more than a bushing or hole in that. Can I loosen that bolt?

How bad is this thing going to spring? So my knowledge is the spring is fully extended in the actuator. So therefore there shouldn’t be any potential energy (as if the spring were collapsed in there)

So I am guessing.. from what I have read.. there is no actuator tension... just the tension from the brake shoes spring inside drum.. maybe use vise grips on drum cable to pull slack and push out pin.. you ever do Chevy drum brakes ? You know they have a little spring in them.. so really should not be much.. I have 2000 workhorse.. mine does look like that.. but your my hero... keep at it.. good luck and keep us posted
