Gulfstream Sunstream 2000

Hi all

Living in the UK and now proud owner of the above. Previous owners christened her Maggie.

Maggie is in need of a lot of TLC, which is what we intend to do.

Currently seeking a full copy of the electrics schematics for both coach and engine so that we can sort out the mess that had been left (hubby is an electrical engineer)!

Thanks for any help you can give

HERE is a link to all sorts of info about the CHASSIS:

Workhorse Technical Info

You will need to know the year and model of your chassis. You can devine this by looking at the 17 digit chassis vin #. Assuming it is one made by Workhorse, the vin # will begin with "5B4" and the sixth vin position tells you the model. IF you have a "3" or a "5" in the 6th position, then you have a P-32 chassis. The 10th vin position character is the code for the model year. I think 1999 was an "X" and I think 2000 was a "Y". There is almost no difference between the model years (back then) for the P-32 chassis, so I would not stress too much about which year yours may be.

The "W series" models didn't come out until 2001, so I doubt you have one of them.

You MIGHT be able to get help with COACH info by visiting the "Vintage RVs" sub forum here on iRV2.com Good luck and Happy New Year.

Hi

We've found this on the vehicle above the driver side door.

Does this shed any light?

Look at the bottom left corner of that plate. I can't see it all that clearly in your picture, but I THINK that is the chassis Vin #, starting with 1GB (or something close to that). The fact that it isn't "5B4" means that it was built by General Motors in Detroit before Workhorse bought the chassis business from GM in 1999. I think I can see the 6th position is a "3" which confirms it IS a P-32 chassis.

Since the link I provided is from Workhorse, I suggest you use the info they provide for their 1999 P32 products, because that is a close as you will find to the same product that they purchased from GM.

You MAY be able to find GM specific manuals by searching the internet for repair manuals, etc.
