I use Mobil 1 in everything that doesn't leak. Go 5k on the coach and 7.5k in the Malibu with good oil sample resutls.

Have used regular oil (not by choice) Full Synthetic (By choice) and "Dura-blend" (onlly thing shop carried).

My preference is clear above. next Oil change I'm taking a jug of Mobile 1 in with me to the shop.

Mobil 1 - Costco has it in a box with six quarts at less than you would pay otherwise.

Looking at your map, it seems you're a tad bit off of land!
Wow, I don't think you and I could not be farther separated and still be in the continental states since I'm in SoCal with you in Maine. Unless you drive on up to Caribu.

I use Mobil 1 and get 5 qt jug at Walmart for around $30. I also use the AC Delco 2 qt oil filter and Blackstone oil analysis to extend the interval. There's 6500 mi on the oil I just tested and they are recommending 2k more before a change.

I posted more about this HERE.

I agree with Duner, cheapest price for Mobil-1 is the 5 quart size from Walmart. I change oil every 5k in our Workhorse 8.1, and have used Mobil-1 since new.

I've used M1 since 1985 in 9 vehicles with more than a million miles logged and not a single issue. I once pulled the valve cover off our 1986 Golf (notorious for 250 deg oil temps) after 230K mi and it literally looked showroom new inside.

I go at least a year or 15,000 miles in our ISC with regular dino oil and 7,500 miles in our two Honda's. All per factory recommendations. Cummins says you can't extend the oil change interval using synthetic unless you do oil analysis. I did that with the ISC after a year and was told it was good to go another 5,000 miles. So no reason to waste the money on a synthetic.
