I had my fuel filter changed today at a authorized Workhorse service center and the part cost $116.43 plus labor. The part no. used is W0010883.

Can this be right?

FloraBama,
I just recently purchased a fuel filter in Cerritos, CA. for $70 and installed it myself. Took about 20 minutes.

Yes, this is the part only.
Is there a WH Parts website where I can get a online price I can take back to the service center?

Thanks,

If you were really charged $116 for the filter in addition to the labor cost, you need to rate the service center. go to www.workhorse.com/Dealers/Motor Home.Rate a Motor Home Service Center

Then contact the service center and ask for a refund.

This morning I got under the MH to look at the filter and I couldn't even tell if it had actually been replaced. No sign of fuel leak which I would expect some fuel to run out of the lines when disconnected.

I contacted WH so I'll wait and see if they contact me then I'll go back to the dealer who is Sandy Sansing Chev in Pensacola, FL.

Thanks for the input.

Click on TOOLS and then HELP to learn how to post.

Or click on NEW and then DISCUSSION.

Good luck.

UPDATE**

After contacting the dealer's customer service on Friday they called back today with their finding on the charge. "Due to a computer error, the actual fuel filter prices is $66.00" and they will refund me the difference.

Thanks for everyone input on this.

Is there an equivalent to the WH fuel filter? What model/part #? How much? Is is available at NAPA?

Thanks.

Relax, drive safely, and enjoy God's creations.

To my knowledge only Workhorse Dealers/Service Centers and ME sell the Workhorse style fuel filter.
