Heater controls
Does anyone know the source for the dash heater controls on an '04 Winnebago 37B. It's GM, but not sure which vehicle it came from.
Thanks,
Dave

look through this unsorted connection of Ads, Documentation, Brochures/Schematics - Forum
I have seen several manuals and schematics for GM chassis in this old library.

Dave, having followed this forum for a couple of decades, many of the heater/ac control problems are caused by the vacuum lines rotting out in the very hot engine compartment. In my case it was the blue vacuum line which was decayed so much that I could scrape it with my thumb nail and the powdery plastic just floated away. Don't know exactly what your problem is but you may want to do a visual inspection of the lines.
Good luck,
Bill

My 2004 Chieftain heater control is most likely exactly the same as yours.
Here's a drawing of the control lines and it has a couple of part numbers listed.

Duner,
Thanks, the vacuum line is fine. I've already had to replace the control, probably with a used one, so I want to get another if I can. I'm going to pull it and see if I can repair it. It only has high speed and I've replaced the relay and checked the resistor.
Thanks again,
Dave

Ed,
I won't comment on the senile part. Lol! We still have the MH, but we also have a 5th wheel that stays in Florida, where we winter.
Hope you and Sue are doing well.
Dave

I have a 07 pace arrow and my temp control has somehow disconnected or not functioning from the control. It moves the entire cable and not just the inner wire. I moved the control in front of the passenger seat manually to cool but still trying to figure out the actual issue at the dash control

There's gotta be a way to keep the outside casing from moving. Here's an image of one that is clamped down.
In this image, the green holds the casing in place. There are other ways of accomplishing this. Being newer, I'd bet at least some of the heater control assembly is made of plastic. It may be cracked or broken.
