Hydraulic brake system maintenance.

The brake fluid gets contaminated with water and debris. It is a fairly universal recommendation by auto and truck manufacturers that hydraulic brake systems be flushed and refilled with fresh fluid every 2 years.

Several day ago I posted a poll titled Flushing the Brake System in the Workhorse forum. It now has had 151 views. That's good. However there have been only 8 votes!

I don't know what to think of that. The thread title is interesting enough to trigger people to read the post but not interesting enough to trigger a vote.

I think this poll can be considered inconclusive!

Flushing your brake fluid periodically is great advice.
Yes, I saw your poll, but I don't own a Workhorse Chassis so I didn't vote.
FWIW, I flush/bleed ours biannually and have switched to DOT4.

Yep, a periodic flush and fill is sound maintenance.
